Vehicle Access & Entry/Exit to Halls

  • To bring your vehicles into the halls to unload, you will need to register for access through Excel’s ‘Voyage Control’ system which will open for Salute bookings 3 weeks before the show date.

  • This is separate from parking.

  • Codes and details for booking access via Voyage Control are detailed at bottom of this page.

  • We are in the NORTH side halls, access to halls for vehicles is through the Excel Traffic Office, Sandstone Lane, E16 1FR via Royal Albert Way

  • Map - https://www.excel.london/uploads/excel-24_campus-travel-map_sep24.jpg

  • We will be inviting vehicles to queue in the adjacent hall from after 16:00 to allow a faster break down after we close at 17:00.

  • We marshal traffic in set up and break down, and run a one way system. This has proven to be the fastest way to achieve breakdown for all.

  • Please be patient and obey our marshal directions

  • Pedestrian access is from the public boulevard via the Exhibitor Door for Hall S13. NO trolleys or super big bags allowed in that way.

Parking

  • Pre-booking is the only way to guarantee a space in the car park at the venue. Book here.

  • We have no say on distance from allocated parking to the show floor, be aware it can be  somewhat of a walk.

  • We don’t the control parking system - please refer all issues to Excel Parking.

Free Parking  for Clubs

  • Clubs will be repaid the parking costs as post show expenses - we will email clubs separately on that (NO codes this year!).

  • You MUST prebook and pay as normal for parking, and keep payment details. ]

    Deliveries, Couriers, Freight Forwarding

  • Warlords will not sign for deliveries – you must be present.

  • It follows that you can only book deliveries for between 1300-1630 on the Friday or 0700-0930 on the Saturday and only if you have staff on stand.

  • Excel can provide a freight forwarding service (https://www.excel.london/faqs/logistics-services) but same limit on hours applies to that service

Power

  • There are no power sockets available in the show unless you specifically booked one.

WiFi

  • Although there is a free public Wi-Fi service venue-wide, this is only suitable for general browsing and email, but it is not designed for business-critical or high-bandwidth use.

  • Phone and wifi signal has been generally been sufficient in the past for POS.

  • However, Excel has a range of reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi options for your stand, with average upload and download speeds of up to 8 Mbps. For faster or more secure access, we recommend a hard-wired connection. You can purchase a Wi-Fi connection at Excel’s Webshop. See also technology FAQs).

    Setup of Stands

  • As described in booking manual the stands are not marked out on the floor

  • The positioning of tables and the temporary walls show the stand positions

  • Stand and games spaces will be labelled

  • On arrival and before set up ensure you have the right space and ideal engage with neighbours on boundaries.

  • If you have surplus tables please fold and return to table stores in hall corners .

  • If you are short of what requested, please obtain from corner table stores: trade stands may have no more than TWO tables per 6’ of stand width.

  • We are flexible on set up within your area  but especially for 6’ stands – please be aware of how customer circulation (with big back packs) may affect your neighbours.

  • Any issues please speak to a Warlord volunteer

Rubbish

  • You are expected to please backload surplus packaging, pallets, and other stand rubbish on to your vehicles and remove from the site.

  • We are charged for excess rubbish, be that in the commercial wheelie bins available or left on the floor, and we will recharge that to exhibitors where we can identify offenders.

  • The small round plastic bins are for customer waste only.

Voyage Control - To bring a vehicle into the hall… Can be booked on day so even your last minute hire/taxi/uber can get in to drop you by your space…

[WILL BE UPDATED IN MARCH]
