SALUTE 53 was held on Saturday 11th April 2026 at the London ExCel and the theme was CAVALRY!
SALUTE 53 was a truly incredible event with our biggest attendance at over 7400 visitors. We are so overwhelmed to be part of such a fantastic hobby community.

THE Miniatures
Official Miniature:
A Cavalry theme evoked many images and we were particularly inspired by the Islamic Cavalry of the Middle Ages. This fantastic miniature was based on Saladin, or Salah ad-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub, the founder of the Ayyubid Dynasty of Muslim Egypt and Syria in the 12th Century.
Thanks to the hard working folks at Wargames Atlantic, this wonderful miniature was available as a fully plastic sprue at SALUTE 53 and given to the first 5000 visitors.
Digital Miniature:
“By Force & Valor” is the motto of the 40th Cavalry Regiment and was this year’s digital miniature: an American tank crewmen, from an alternative history of “cold war gone hot,” dragging his crew mate to safety from a knocked out vehicle.
This wonderful miniature was sculpted by Flank March and you could learn about the history and get a link to the free STL in the official show guide for SALUTE 53!
This year we had the SALUTE 53 miniature, show guide and dice as usual. We also had a mix of other items including sprues from Mantic, miniatures from Forgemaster, painters arsenal cards from Redgrass, basing samples from WarMag and other hobby products from PrintableMini.tools.
For some lucky visitors we also had special limited edition SALUTE 53 dice and “Golden Tickets” provided by WarMag and Sarissa Precision.

See Who Attended
Bridge Command were at SALUTE 53 with one-hour taster sessions. Perfect for both first-time recruits and seasoned officers, these sessions offered a hands-on introduction to UCN systems in a live tactical scenario.
The London Historical Fencing Club were at SALUTE 53, with a selection of steel and synthetic weapons for visitors to handle. They hosted participation sessions with synthetic longswords between demonstration sparring.
